Under the production and direction of the baritone Adan Perez, with the special participation of the Folkloric Ballet of Cultura led by Maestro Javier Arcadia, the folklore of Sinaloa will be present at the Cherry Blossom Charity Ball on April 6 in the city of Tokyo, Japan.
The Cherry Blossom Charity Ball is a charity gala organized by the International Ladies Benevolent Society, which is a foundation sponsored by the Japanese Imperial Court that is integrated by the wives of ambassadors from different countries. Year after year the Japanese Imperial Court held a musical gala to raise funds and on this occasion gave their confidence to Mexico for the organization.
Adan Perez is a world-renowned Mexican artist who also produced a beautiful musical show at the Peter Norton Symphony Space in Manhattan for the centenary of the birth of Pedro Infante.
The inclusion of Sinaloa to this project is achieved through the Embassy of Mexico in Japan whose head is the Dr. Carlos Almada Lopez who born in Sinaloa.
It should be noted that in order to raise funds to finance their trip today, Friday March 9, Adan Perez together with the Folkloric Ballet of Cultura Mazatlan and the energy of Banda Legal will offer a colorful musical show at the Angela Peralta Theater entitled “Al son que me toquen” where dance expressions from Jalisco, Oaxaca, Veracruz and Sinaloa will be part of the musical.
