rainbowwarriortourThanks to his philosophy (which is based on promoting the consumption of local, sustainable and organic products) the chef Aquiles Chavez joined the campaign of the Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior on its tour around Mexico against consumption of GM maize. “As a Mexican cook I give importance to the consumption of local, sustainable products, to buy the things seasonal local producers, and I believe that the entry of GM products goes against the philosophy professed as a member of the Collective of Mexican Food in which is promoted the consumption of sustainable products”, he said.

On his stay in Mazatlan, the chef Aquiles had the opportunity to visit the seafood market “The Changueras” and the municipal market “Pino Suarez” and said to be fascinated by the wealth of fresh product that has Mazatlan and its culture seafood, so even would like to invest and do something different but tasty at the port.
