After a few years of having canceled their visits to Mazatlan, thanks to the efforts of the state and federal governments to ensure the safety and happy stay of its visitors, the Carnival Cruise Lines will resume shipping arrivals to this paradisiac port. This was stated by Minister of Tourism of Sinaloa, Francisco Cordova Celaya, who reported to be around 40 arrivals expected in Mazatlan by Carnival Cruise Lines during the 2014, which will start by September or October.

To formalize the presence of cruise ships in port, the Federal Ministry of Tourism confirmed that only needs to match the schedules of the Governor of Sinaloa, Mario Lopez Valdez, Federal Secretary of Tourism, Claudia Ruiz Massieu and the President of the Carnival Cruise Lines.
