The Magic Town El Rosario Sinaloa will be on long tablecloths next Saturday, August 3, after 364 years of foundation. For this reason the House of Culture ‘Gilberto Owen’ invite you to participate in the celebrations that are prepared for the whole family.

6:00 am | With Sinaloense band music will sing the traditional ‘mañanitas’ through the main streets of the town.

8:00 am | Inauguration of Loma de Santiago alley and urban mural headed by Mayor Manuel Antonio Pineda Dominguez.

6:00 pm | Gastronomic sample of Mexican snacks, mechanical games and musical shows in the Gabriel Leyva square.

8:00 pm | Dance show Prints of my dear Rosario by the PACMYC ballet.

9:00 pm | Acoustic ensemble A Tomorrow by the singer from Rosario Juan Colin.

Pedro Infante was an interpreter specialized in Mexican regional music who recorded more than 300 songs that continue to enjoy great popularity. His acting career began in 1943 whose naturalness and sympathy earned him the recognition of the public and in a very short time he became the heartthrob and favorite singer of national cinema.

With international fame and hundreds of awards, Pedro Infante dies in a tragic air crash in Merida, Yucatan on April 15, 1957, leaving after his death a legacy of successes and talent impossible to match.

Located on 1108 Constitution St., in the Historic Center of Mazatlan, the Pedro Infante Museum has a historical value in the port since it was precisely in that house where the Mexican film actor and singer was born in 1917.

The Pedro Infante Museum opens its doors from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm and Sundays from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. The visits are guided by the owners of the place who charge a recovery fee to keep the museum in optimal conditions.

When you arrive at Mazatlan Aquarium you can see on its front a traditional and representative sculpture of the port, where some children feed a dolphin, symbolizing the friendship and the encounter of marine species with the human being.

  • Junior’s Academies – Saturday, May 18
  • Folklor’s Academies – Sunday, May 19
