The business delegation of Mazatlan that will participate in the next Tourism Tianguis 2014 to be held in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico, from 6 to 9 May, enlist the final details to continue with the recovery foreign seats as this will be one of the priority issues to be explored between airlines and wholesalers who attended the Cancun Tourism Tianguis.

The Mexico Tourism Tianguis main objective is to show to the national and international markets the products, offers and diversity in Tourism that Mexico offers to the world, which planning is the responsibility of the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Board of Mexico.

In words of Jose Gamez, executive of the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies, Mazatlan seeks to recover routes in the U.S. and Canada as foreign tourism represents a better economic benefit to the port since their stays are longer compared to overland tourism.

“The conditions are given in image and safety. If things go well, in three years we would be turning around. If, and only if the U.S. economy is not coming down”, he said.
