On Thursday January 9th through its website http://travel.state.gov the U.S. State Department advised its citizens that Mazatlan, the largest tourist destination of Sinaloa, has safe zones that are recommended attractions, among which highlights the historical center, the golden zone and the route to the international airport.

The report released by the U.S. State Department indicates that each year millions of North Americans citizens visit safely Mexico for study, tourism and business and recognizes the efforts of the Government of Mexico to protect U.S. citizens and other visitors and that generally rest areas and resorts in Mexico do not record levels of violence for drugs or criminal acts.

Thus, it confirms the fruits that continue giving the efforts made by the Federal Government, State, Municipal, entrepreneurs and citizens to do of Mazatlan one of the most important and safe beach destination in Mexico.
