National Meeting of Craftsmen
February 23 - March 12
One of the most awaited and extraordinary events if you live or are visiting Mazatlan is the National Meeting of Craftsmen that this year will celebrate its eighth edition.
The National Meeting of Craftsmen is an event aimed at promoting and preserving the craftsmen’s traditions of Mexico and knowing and appreciating the handicrafts of the invited countries, which in this edition will be attended by Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Turkey.
During the National Meeting of Craftsmen to be held in Mazatlan from February 23 to March 12, you will be able to admire the work and dedication of 200 craftsmen from 20 states of the Mexican Republic.
Let yourself be conquered by the textiles and handcrafted jewelry that is made in Mexico, buy decorative items made in clay and other materials typical of our states, instill in your children the taste and appreciation for wooden toys and do not leave without tasting some typical food in the food pavilion as the traditional Mole of Puebla and distinctive meals of Oaxaca.
Likewise, two stellar events are scheduled:
The Sinaloa Festival to be held on Sunday, February 25 where there will be a dance tour of parts from some states of Mexico and a special dance tribute to the Mazatlan Carnaval.
The Guelaguetza of Oaxaca which is characterized by its color, music and beautiful dresses that shine in each dance that is presented on stage will take place on Sunday, March 4.
Both events will be able to enjoy in Family from 18:00 hours.
The National Meeting of Craftsmen will be located on Rafael Buelna Avenue corner at Soriana Hiper supermarket and will open the doors to the public from 10:00 – 22:00 hours.
