Mazatlan Forum 2014: Crossing Borders

The College of Sinaloa and the University of Santa Clara (California) invite you to participate in the Mazatlan Forum 2014 “Crossing Borders: The Future of Technology and Education, Perspectives from Mexico and the United States” to be held in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico from 27 to 29 March.

The Mazatlan Forum aims primarily to promote the cultural and scientific exchange between Mexico and the United States, establishing an ongoing conversation on issues of interest between the two nations.

For this second edition, the Mazatlan Forum 2014 will bring together important personalities and academics involved with outstanding presentations, among which there are:

  • Dr. Javier Elguea“Towards the construction of new educational practices supported by technology.”
  • Dr. Stephen Carroll“Meta Learning: Improving lifelong success teaching students to become self-directed learners.”
  • Dr. Ana Luz Ruelas “The role of technology in transforming education in the XXI Century”.
  • Dr. Luis Alberto Muñoz Ubando “The urgent need to improve early access to international innovation behaviors.”
  • Dr. Mohammad Qayoumi“Re-imagining urban comprehensive university.”
  • Dr. Judith Kalman“Possible changes in teaching practice: The integration of information technology, communication and design in the classrooms of middle-school in Mexico.”
