For American Airlines Vacations are currently five main tourist destinations in Mexico that they operate: Cancun, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cozumel, but in this occasion the destination that is positioned and with the best expectations is undoubtedly Mazatlan, the Pearl of the Pacific.
Liane Augustine believes that these results are the product of the intense marketing campaign that has been made in the United States and Canada, in addition to the improvements in infrastructure and attractions that are being carried out in the port.
For American Airlines Vacations Mazatlan is certainly a destination that has it all, has beautiful beaches, an extensive and beautiful boardwalk, extraordinary climate, delicious cuisine, emblematic Historic Center with cultural events throughout the year, the proximity of Magical Towns, colonial towns , the warmth of its people…Mazatlan, you have to live it!

One of the most beautiful areas of the port of Mazatlan, Sinaloa whose corners shelter part of the history of our city is the Paseo Olas Altas that in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s was the center of the tourist activity.
In recent days as part of the comprehensive renovation project that is happening in Mazatlan in front of the Tianguis Turistico Mexico 2018, the Paseo Olas Altas was transformed to welcome you and confirm once again why Mazatlan is known as the Pearl of the Pacific.
We invite you to enjoy with your family and friends for a walk along the Paseo Olas Altas as from Thursday to Sunday this area will be closed to road traffic to make it completely pedestrian. Admire the sunsets that Mazatlan gives you, sit on the boardwalk and listen to the waves or taste some typical saucer of the region.

In recent days the Director of Cultura Mazatlan, Raul Rico, with the special presence of the aspirants to the crowns of the Mazatlan’s International Carnival 2018 ‘Patasalada: The Circus of the Talents’ to be held from February 8 to 13, 2018, was made the official switching of the Christmas decoration that illuminates and embellishes one of the most representative squares of the port, the Plazuela Machado.
The Plazuela Machado is an icon of the Historic Center of Mazatlan, not only by the beauty and history of the buildings that surround it, but because it hosts the most important cultural enclosure of the port, the Angela Peralta Theater.
In Mazatlan, one of the musts to be done is to visit the Plazuela Machado, where gastronomy, architecture and outdoor shows are the delight of locals and tourists. So if you visit Mazatlan during this Holiday Season, come with your family and friends and enjoy an unforgettable evening.
The Secretary of the Municipal City Council, Joel Boucieguez, announced the opening of two new tourist markets: Handcrafted Market and Malecon Market where visitors will be able to find souvenirs, handicrafts and typical gastronomy of the port.
The Handcrafted Market will be located in what nowadays knows as the Flowers Market in the center of the city and the Malecon Market will be located on Del Mar Avenue, in what used to be Coliseos; its concept will be very similar to the Mercado Roma in Mexico City, where there are organic and gourmet food stalls, fast food outlets as well as stores and restaurants of the city.
This is how Mazatlan diversifies its tourist offer so our visitors will have a unique experience in the port.
