Sinaloa goes for new Guinness RecordBy
At press conference in the city of Los Angeles, California, the head of the Ministry of Tourism of Sinaloa, Francisco Cordova Celaya, announced that in order to establish a new world record and to promote Sinaloa through its music, Tourism Ministry and Fellowship Sinaloenses residing in California made the concentration of more than 50 bands of Sinaloa will perform together and coordinated the song “The Sinaloense”.
The event will take place on August 31 in the County of South Gate and will be free for all attendees, and during the same also will seek to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an institution that provides help and support to children and families with medical care at no cost to beneficiaries.
Both the Secretary of Tourism as German Lizarraga, director of the Star Band of the Pacific, agreed that such events help to find scenarios promoting tourist destinations of Sinaloa to the Latin population resides in California and send messages of brotherhood and identity with the ‘sinaloenses’ who live there.
