Norwegian Star arrived in MazatlanBy
Amid folk dances and carols Santa Claus welcomed the 2,240 tourists from Los Angeles, California who came aboard the Norwegian Star Cruise, one of the larger scale ships expected for this season at the Port of Mazatlan.
With the presence of the Undersecretary of Tourism, Rafael Lizarraga Favela and Sergio Romero Barrera representing the Mazatlan’s Town Hall, welcome to the crew and tourists led by the Norwegian Star cruise ship captain, Idar Hoydal, who with some of his crew down boat with gifts to thank the warm welcome with which they were received.
With this third boat Mazatlan closes 2013 with high hopes in tourism material, especially in the cruise segment, seeing today crystallized fruits of the great efforts that have been and continue to be made by the authorities and residents to offer tourists a safe harbor and to guarantee a vacations filled with sun, beach, gastronomy and warmth.
