In a game where it was felt the great pitching of Francisco Félix and Miguel González, Culiacan’s Tomateros took last night the first game of the series, winning 3 races in 2 to Mazatlan’s Venados in the Stadium Teodoro Mariscal.

With a game tied at 2 runs into the seventh inning, the Tomateros to take turns in the ninth inning produced the winning run with a great performance from their hitters and relievers Federico Castañeda, Miguel Rubio and José Silva. Read more »

With an emotive Holiday concert and a spectacular art show the Mazatlan Cultural Festival 2010 ended with its traditional Christmas Show that took place this Saturday 18th at the majestic Angela Peralta Theater.

The evening began with a beautiful interpretation by the Angela Peralta Chorus from traditional Christmas carols to continue with special pieces of the time as Duetto, the opera Hansel und Grretel, E. Humperdinck and Sleigh Ride, L. Anderson, arranged by Claudio Tarris. Read more »
