A whole success the Great Marathon Pacific 2010
A whole success for Mazatlan and his visitors represented the Great Marathon Pacific 2010 in its twelfth edition which brought together thousands of families in a healthy competition having as panorama the beautiful beaches of Mazatlan Mexico.

After draining feminine test, the keniata Neriah Asiba Nyabong was proclaimed as the winner of the test of 21 Km by an official time of 1:15:03. In the second position, the compatriot of Nyabong, Lucy Kurgat Cheroth was showcased by a time of 1:16:17 to finally Adriana Pirtea of Romania was proclaimed by the third place by a time of 1:17:27. Significantly, the Mexican caste was represented by the mazatleca María Rodríguez Fonseca, who with a time of 1:23:25 occupied the fourth place of the competition.
For its part, the male branch wore a high competitive level across the keniata Isaac Kimayo who imposed a new brand of 1:02:48 occupying the first place in the test of 21 km. The second place was for the guanajuatense Carlos Cordero with a time of 1:02:59 and the third place was for the hidalguense Oscar Cerón with a time of 1:03:00.
One of the most lucid competitions was offered by the Paralympic athletes who gave a sample of their spirit of competitiveness and courage, who in the category of 21 Km in wheelchair covered themselves with glory Gonzalo Valdovinos and Gloria Sánchez native to Michoacan and Guadalajara respectively.
