Sailfish Tournament 2010

A success was the Tenth Sailfish Tournament organized by the newspaper El Debate in the beautiful port of Mazatlan Mexico.

With a participation of more than 50 equipments and 150 fishermen (record number in participation), during this tenth edition delivered $900,000 pesos in prizes distributed of the following form:

Equipment "Gerónimo" with a piece of 88.15 pounds was the principal winner of the event and was rewarded by a car and $30,000 pesos by obtained the first place in the category of Sailfish.

Equipment "Pigs Dogs" with a piece of 81.25 pounds was rewarded by a car Tsuru GSI 2011 and $20,000 pesos for occupying the second place in the category of Sailfish.

The first place of the Marlin category with a prize Ford Courier was granted to the equipment "Awesome A's" on having presented a piece of 100.90 pounds.

In the same category, the equipment "The Plebada" obtained the second place with a piece of 82.20 pounds being deserving of $12,500 pesos.

Thus, thanks to these sporting events Mazatlan is ratified as the world capital of Sailfish, featuring world-class tournaments.
