Playa Espiritu

The next September 27 as part of World Tourism Day will be the relaunch of "Playa Espiritu” (beach spirit) that is the new name that is known to the "Integrally Planned Center" of Escuinapa whose development advances with the sufficient solidity to attract the attention of big investors despite the economic difficulties that are emerging, said Director General of the National Fund for Tourism Development (Fonatur) Adriana Pérez Quesnel.

The Integrally Planned Center "Playa Espiritu" is in the first stage (infrastructure) and which is thought to be completed in nine phases with an investment superior of 3 billion pesos. Also to face to the global financial crisis, Fonatur is offer to the investors the program "Moment Fonatur" which decreases the amount of down payment for the purchase of land, lengthen the payment terms and reduced interest.

Finally, Ms. Perez said that the building of the Integrally Planned Center "Playa Espiritu" as the main challenge is to conserve biodiversity of the area and spearhead a sustainable project to be an example of what can be done without damaging or may modify the environment.
