Memorial Day

Yesterday took place in the Restaurant - Bar "La Terraza" of Hotel Playa Mazatlan an emotive ceremony to resemble those who have died serving the United States.

The Memorial Day celebrated last Monday of May, is a very special day for all Americans and families of military tradition, since it is in this date when the nation offers an honoring to all those who died in any conflict of the history.

As a tradition, the ceremony began at 9:00 am with a delicious breakfast in “La Terraza” of Hotel Playa Mazatlan which was attended by a group of veterans led by the Consul of the United States in Mazatlan, Luis Ramirez.

Around 10:00 a.m. the group leader welcomed those present and was reminiscent of the experiences of some soldiers, and later offered a minute of silence for the "fallen". Later the national anthems of Canada, Mexico and the United States were intoned and finally to offer a funeral wreath that was thrown to the sea in honoring to the martyrs of War.
