I will not be happy but I have a husband

With two majestic presentations in the Angela Peralta Theater, the Mexican actress Laura Zapata gave a chair of her singular talent personifying Viviana, a woman with 27 years of married that in a moment of her life thinks about the sweet and bitter of the marriage.

With an outstanding performance that earned her a heartfelt standing ovation for several minutes from her audience, the actress Laura Zapata successfully presented the work titled "I'll not be happy but I have a husband" based on the book under Viviana Gómez Thorpe and Rubén Lara’s production.

"I will not be happy but I have a husband" is a stage set representing a typical Mexican woman who bet all their love and effort by the institution less romantic in the world: marriage.

Viviana, a devoted wife who is betrayed and ignored by her husband who only intends to seek pleasure in girls of 21 years, portrays the story of many women living with a profound lack of love from their partners until a day stop to think if that is what they really want in their lives, and if not, why continue it?

The work presented in the port is part of the events and shows that the Art’s Institute with the support of “Cultura Mazatlan” has organized in Cultural Festival Mazatlan 2010.
