The Baseball Feast Begins
The Mexican Pacific League was officially inaugurated yesterday and the Stadium “Teodoro Mariscal” dressed of holiday during the Opening Ceremony and the game between “Venados” of Mazatlan and “Tomateros” of Culiacan.
With more than thirteen thousand followers at 19:30 hours started the Grand Opening of Baseball Season 2011-2012 with a waste of joy and youth from all dance groups who graced the party. Beautiful dancers filled with emotion the hearts of the spectators and the group of "Break Dance" entered the field on "pulmonia" (typical transport in Mazatlan) to culminate with fireworks that illuminated the sky “Mazatleco”.
It was in J. J. Pacho on whom fell the distinction of launching the first shot of the campaign and which teams entered to the battlefield to prove its strategy and potential in his batting and pitching.
In this occasion the victory was for "Tomateros" of Culiacan and after the first game of the season the Standing LMP was as follows:
