On November 20, 1910, Mexicans commemorate the anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, the most important historical process in our country that began with a rebellion against “Porfiriato” (government of General Porfirio Díaz, who became president of the country for 30 years based on electoral fraud), where different social groups demanding a more just and democratic Mexico.
During this conflict, which was led by Francisco I. Madero, there was the mobilization of urban workers, indigenous communities and certain groups of elite, which also joined the leadership of Francisco Villa, Pascual Orozco and Emiliano Zapata.
To commemorate this representative event, Mexicans are actively involved in the traditional parade Revolutionary where educational sectors, sportsmen and soldiers make a semblance of what was the revolutionary struggle of that time.
