The Investment continues in "Old Mazatlan"

The investment and renovation in Old District of Mazatlan continues with an estimated private and government investment of 210 million Pesos in 2010, versus the previous 185 million Pesos in the previous year. The Pino Suarez Market and the Plazuela Zaragoza are among the most important historic sites that are currently under renovation.

Mazatlan Historic Center has become an attractive place to live, visit and enjoy thanks to the work done over tha last years based on a United States model of revitalization called "Main Street Project". This model has 4 important points: Organization, Promotion, Design and Economic Restructuring. This Historic Center of Mazatlan in the old district, is an area that was declared a National Historic Patrimony since 2001.
