Announce joint investment to promote the Mexican RivieraBy
The Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Francisco Cordova Celaya, on his return from Sea Trade Cruise Shipping 2014 held recently in the city of Miami, Florida, announced that during a meeting with their counterparts in Baja California Sur, Ruben Reachi Lugo and Jalisco, Enrique Ramos Flores; agreed to begin a new dynamic diffusion, where Mazatlan, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta join forces to form the Mexican Riviera, an attractive, unique and differentiated product to the cruise industry.
The “Mexican Riviera” was created with the aim of rescuing cruise tourism in the Mexican Pacific, for which the three states agreed to invest each $200,000 dollars to begin to be projected as a destination-region, combining its tourist attractions and offering a unique travel experience.
