Tourism in Mazatlan continues growing

Mazatlan is consider by the Ministry of tourism of Mexico, as one of the few tourist growth destinations, despite the challenges that the country has faced in the last two years, having ended 2009 with a total of 1.9 million visitors, 4% over the previous year. The highest increase in 2009 came from domestic markets, followed by Nort America, mainly Canada. The number of visitors has grown an average annual rate of 7% during the previous three years.
